This is a relief.
Upon seeing the thread title I feared he was going to be demanding splitting off post 1900 maps and asb maps and all that stuff.

Yeah, as I said above, at least this is a sane approach. We'll still have that good old random 'what will people post next?'-ness of the Map Thread.

I'm behind you on the idea Ian. :)

Although I believe we should not sticky the old thread, I don't know the exact reason but there is a sane limit to the number of stickied threads in AHBMG&W. A link to the old thread in the first post should do the trick IMO.
