What if the end of WW1 turned out in Germany's favor, but only up to a point. The peace deal would include Germany getting some of the bordering regions of Belgium for security (ie the defensible regions), France gets the French speaking parts (not Brussels) and the Netherlands (who was neutral in the conflict) gets the Flemish speaking regions. Basically its a standard 1918 offensive win scenario that forces Britain off the continent, but they want to keep fighting to prevent Germany from getting Belgium and the channel ports. Would this be a sufficient compromise to satisfy Britain?
