Spiderman film rights sold to Warner Bros.

Could the Spiderman film rights be sold to Warner Bros as opposed to Sony

Would Warner Bros be willing to buy the film rights to the rest of the Marvel characters

When would Warner Bros make Spiderman films and what would they look like

The Spider-Man film rights were tied up in the Toy Biz sale---that is why Avi Arad is attached to them and why he is at Sony Pictures. Then there was the trade with the Bond film rights just before "Spider-Man" 2001---so I dunno if this is a feasible timeline. It's too complex and reaches back to even before Marvels' bankruptcy.

Things would be funnier by now....maybe later buy all the bankrupt marvel? or something?

Perhaps Warner Brothers steps up and purchases Toy Biz and through that gets Marvel Comics. No idea who would come over from DC to run Marvel at the time. Toy Biz would probably be absorbed into Matty or something like that. Or perhaps they would create a new division. Or maybe they don't even become involved in the first place, maybe no Avi Arad is the diversion point in this. IIRC there were contingencies in plan for Marvel to almost get Superman in the 80's. A letter or memo surfaced after the creation of the 52'Verse I believe.
