Apologies for the lack of teasers here over the last few months. Those who are on the Discord know the mod is still very much alive.

This Armistice Day brings a teaser for a very polarized France:

Geez looking at this I remembered how good this mod looks. Do we have an eta on release?

Oddly the French National and Social Republic seems to be too much of a mouthful, perhaps just use the French State or the French Social National Republic? Other than that everything looks great for France.

God damn, that's beautiful (and horrible, but there's beauty in that mess of a nation). Fantastic stuff!

Question on France, is French Corporatism supposed to be like Park-Chung Hee's corporatism, or is it more like Mussolini's corporatism?

We are currently aiming for a release at some point in 2020. When a more specific timeframe is established it will be announced of course.

More along the lines of Mussolini (in fact, Mussolini's prison writings have personally influenced the Lyautey regime), although with its own uniquely French characteristics and history as explained in the national spirit.

Will we be able to decide what form it takes? The spirit mentions a lot of different visions for it.

At a guess I'd say continue the military dictatorship, monarchist, classical Fascist, and NatSoc- Lyautay especially seems like a stand in for Hindenburg, and his PM as described seems a bit like Hitler.

Well, from what I've learned on Tardieu, the dude was far from a fascist, just mainly a moderate conservative. Let's also not forget the fact that the far-left parties have a degree of popularity along with the two more moderate political parties (SocLibs and SocDems), so it's entirely possible that there could be a return to French democracy if the military government screws up badly enough.

He is not as moderate as he may seem at a glance. Tardieu historically diverted government funds towards the far-right leagues and took a turn towards anti-parliamentarism and extreme conservatism in the early 1930s. His ideological flip flopping is reflected here, as his views have shifted towards authoritarian conservatism and cooperation with the far-right. With that said, there are certainly a number of figures in and around the Lyautey regime that advocate a more extreme right-wing platform than Tardieu. On the potential of a restoration of liberal democracy, that will be possible albeit it won't be the easiest nor most common path and certainly will not be manifested by Tardieu.

So, I was rereading the Dev Report about the Italian Civil War, and I was wondering about a couple of things.
1. Without Fascism, what are some notable exiles it created doing, like Salvemini, his students, De Ambris and so on?
2. What side do the Republicans take, considering in the OTL Civil War they were so republican they decided not to collaborate with the CLN because of its acceptance of the monarchy (deciding instead to operate semi-indipendently)?
3. With Mussolini in jail, what happened to the factions within the Fascist Party? OTL there were more or less six, all led by someone, who's dominant here?

1. Many anti-fascist exiles from OTL are also forced into exile by the military regime. Salvemini is in exile with political ties to the opposition towards the military regime. De Ambris distanced himself from fascism as he did in OTL and has ties to the socialist opposition.
2. The PRI was banned by the military regime, although it operates in exile and underground in a limited alliance with the Unitary Socialist Party. When it comes to the civil war, they distantly align with the Socialist Republic, although with limited influence.
3. The fascist party operates in exile and underground and is naturally heavily fragmented. As shown in the teasers there are two main factions: the more "traditional" fascists such as Balbo who are aligned with Mussolini despite his imprisonment, and the national syndicalists such as Rossoni who want to shape a new party. There are also a number of smaller factions and sub-factions. With that said however the fascist party overall is much different than in OTL due to the circumstances. It is radically republican, anti-clerical and much less influenced by the bourgeois nationalists from the ANI, who are aligned with the military regime. Futurist influence is also much more prominent. Mussolini himself has had much time in prison to think and write.

Not going to lie, this interwar period in this timeline seems far more chaotic than the OTL interwar period to be honest. Hopefully a blessed world occurs post war. Maybe the chaos will create better post war, and a less brutal actual world war. Got to break some eggs to make an omelet.
With the chaos, I think borders might turn out better with more natural decolonized borders given it isn't "handed out" independence of countries that europeans think look nice on a map, and more based on ethnic boundaries.

British Raj collapse should be fun to play in all honesty.
With chaos making the arab spring look tame, it will be fun playing either the communists, indian warlords, or british remnants trying to maintain what wealth and land they will have and loot their colonial subjects as fiefdoms.

There's another teaser that just came out. The KMT is already split between Wuhan and Nanjing just like OTL.

What's going on in Guangxi and southeastern Hunan? I feel like Li Zongren and Bai Chongxi would be rather displeased with this turn of events. Not to mention Cheng Qian.
