Spartacus sacks rome

They didn't? At this time, at least? When were they removed?

They totally had walls. I thought Spartacus would definatly sack them. I mean he went to Cisalpine Gaul (part of Italy today, but loaded with Cetlic Gauls who heavily outnumber the Latins) and then.... turned South? They just took a grain depot that could supply his army for 3 years (assuming that the Roman estimate of their army size was accurate, which it might be totally off). Why not go to Illyria? The only thing that makes sense of this move is if he changed his mind from whatever his original intentions was and wanted booty. And if he wanted Booty, he would totally sack Rome if it was even possible. Note that even if Rome itself had no walls, the Eutruscan cities would block any large scale movement towards Rome and since Rome totally had walls...
