Spartacus escapes to Cisalpine Gaul

Plutarch said one of Spartacus goals was to go north away from Italy but later decided to go back south. What if he decide to keep that plan and manged to make it to Gaul.What would the affects on history be?
 
Well if Spartacus had gone to north in Gaul then he and his army would be destroyed by Pompey who would be responsible of the definitive victories against both Sertorius and Spartacus

In south Italy, plantation slavery was more widespread than in the north who was more a small farmers region as the region was colonized as per the veterans colonisation of small plot of land for legionnaires.
