Spain doesn't capture Minorica during American Revoution, what happens?

This is basically what the post says. What happens if Spain doesn't capture Minorica from Britain during the American Revolution. Would this have any appreciable effect on the Napoleonic Wars?

It could possibly make Spain more anti-British, but I'm not sure what that changes.
Your thoughts?

Spain almost certainly still has to ally with Britain (and the rest of its partners) at the start of the Revolutionary Wars, because the Spanish Bourbons won't tolerate the killers of their French cousins. Whether this potentially greater hostility to Britain means an earlier change of sides by Spain, after the Directorate's fall, is more open...

Possibly if & when Britain has obtained Malta as an alternative base it offers the return of Minorca to Spain as a potential reward for staying on the anti-French side?
