what if soviets started WW2 by invading Europe incl germany before Nazis even take Austria
with earlier industrialization leader other than Stalin butterflying away Holocaust

how would this effect left, racism , civil rights and welfare state assuming soviets lose

will supporters of welfare state and civil rights be branded , looked down upon as communists like Racists were as Nazis ?

or will welfare state and civil rights be more popular being perceived as solution to communism

will racism still be discredited ?

Well..
1). The USSR invading Germany will not start WW2. And probably avoids it. That may change if the USSR invades France but even then the US won’t joint so it becomes Europe War 296 or whatever it is. And if Japan attacks the US the US will get in a war With Japan but that has nothing to do with the USSR fighting Germany..
2) This won’t effect the Left
3) This won’t effect the Civil rights all that much. A bit but not much.
4). And I have no idea why you would think welfare would be effected..
So in short the whole premise is full of holes

The Soviets are in no shape to invade Europe in 1937.
