Which pieces of Western military equipment or technology would've benefited Soviet military designers and strategic planners the most during the Cold War? Either through capturing an abandoned or only moderately damaged piece of equipment from a proxy war battlefield, or acquiring it through covert espionage and spy craft, or maybe even through some wild act of defection by Western military personnel (or an unintentional B-29 emergency landing type situation).
It could be anything from firearms, to armored vehicles and tanks, to helicopters and fighters, to bombers and cruise missiles, to naval ships and submarines. Something small scale like night vision goggles to something far more grand like a military satellite or high end computer hardware/ software. Which Western gear or equipment would, once analyzed and reverse engineered, benefit the Soviets the most with their own weapons development and doctrine improvements? It doesn't necessarily have to be combat related, but could be a piece of equipment or technology used for logistics, communications, medical use, EW, AEW, or some other support role.
Can be from any period of the Cold War but I was thinking mid Cold War in particular (approximately 1962-1979)
