Southern Strategy thoughts

Possibly one of the most interesting AH stories I've ever read, it really looks into the mindset of many 60s leaders and how they operated.
With Erwin Rommel leading peacekeeping forces in the American South, and Nixon, Wallace, and John Calvin King(new name fits) leading rival insurgencies in Alabama, it makes a very unique story.

Anyway, I would like to know everyone's thoughts on a story that isn't really in wide circulation. Do I have bad taste, or is it truly a good story?
