South Carolina Reconstruction: 1833

Had South Carolina seceded during the Nullification Crisis, Andrew Jackson would have utterly destroyed the state in order to preserve the union. Following such a destruction, there'd necessarily need to be an earlier reconstruction equivalent I'd think.

How would this go? What would be the ramifications politically and culturally in South Carolina?

Jackson was pro-slavery, but if the whole state is burning down I'd imagine there'd be widespread slave revolts no? What are Federal forces to do - focus on the secessionist state militia or the revolting slaves? Both? Could South Carolina accidentally end up as a free state?
