South African Nuclear Abilities

I'm aware that South Africa had approximately half a dozen nuclear weapons in its possession in the 1980s through early 1990s. My question is what means did the South AFricans have to deliver said devices. For example, did they possess the means to deliever it by airplane, cruise missile, ballistic missile, etc.?

The consensus is that they never successfully developed a missile delivery system which left only their Canberras and Buccaneers as potential nuclear bombers.

Okay thanks. I knew that they had dismantled their program when it was pretty far along but I did not realize they had successfully made weapons. Good stuff...

The South Africans had multiple aircraft capable of dropping the nuclear bombs . The Mirage F1 and Mirage 111 aircraft had decent ability but the Buccanear would have been the designated aircraft . It could have done a level drop or a toss bomb easily enough . The actual Nuclear stores modifications could have been done with Israeli assistance .
