No. 1 - Machine-Gun Cart

An old song from the Southron Civil War era (1896-1900), this tune is an ode to the iconic "machine-gun chariots" of the Red Cavalry that helped to defeat the Grey forces and those of interventionist New England and Michigania.

-------------------------------------------

Bird, fly off the road and quickly,
Better hurry or you're dead!
Don't you see the dust a'swirling,
Horses charging far ahead?
Blasting, turning, fire pouring,
into lines of enemies!
His machine-gun rattling, roaring,
through the fields and through the trees.

Hey, machine-gun cart from Richmond,
you're our joy and your our pride!
Charging forth with lightning and with thunder,
four wheels humming as they ride!
Hey, machine-gun cart from Houston,
you're our joy and you're our pride!
fiery chariot of the army,
breaking wave upon the tide!

Crossed Ohio and Missouri,
through the wide prairie!
Tanned and dusty our young gunner,
fighting through our enemy!
As unstoppable and mighty,
as our proud and wild steeds.
Manes of wind, smoke, storm, and fire,
waving fearless in the breeze!

Hey gun-cart from old New Orleans,
you're our joy and you're our pride!
Charging forth with lightning and with thunder,
four wheels humming as they ride!
Hey, machine-gun cart from Raleigh,
you're our joy and you're our pride!
fiery chariot of the army,
breaking wave upon the tide!

Hey machine-gun cart from Jackson,
you're our joy and you're our pride!
Charging forth with lightning and with thunder,
four wheels humming as they ride!
Hey, machine-gun cart from Nashville,
you're our joy and you're our pride!
fiery chariot of the army,
breaking wave upon the tide!

First came ole' Virginia
To nobly take a stand,
Then stood North Carolkina,
And took her by the hand,
Next bravely, too, Kentucky,
Georgia and Florida,
All raised on high the bonny red flag
That bears the golden star.

Hurrah! Hurrah! For workers' rights hurrah!
Hurrah for the bonnie red flag that bears a golden star!

Dorozhand- I love the Tachanka remake!

Part of The Red Army is the Strongest

White factory workers and black farmhands
Are taking arms across the land
Down with the bosses and the slavish masters
The mighty Red Army will kill the bastards

And so the Red soldier, with righteous fury
Shall kill the enemies
And we shall build a new society
Where all men can be truly free
(repeat)

Red People's Army, march march on!

"Grey Army, Black Lord"

This is another Civil War era song calling the Southron people to arms against their oppressive slave-masters and plantation aristocrats.

------------------------------------------------------

Grey-coated army, and black-hearted lord,
they want plantation and whip restored,
but from the desert to wide ocean shore,
Our crimson army will bring them war!

A million soldiers (soldiers) with grip of hard steel (steel),
whose bayonets are ever drawn,
on foot or saddle,
will give them battle,
and they will fight 'till we have won!
(2x)

Red Army, valiant, march forward and on,
led by the party of crimson dawn,
from the rivers and mountains, to wide ocean shore,
The Red Army's fighting the people's war!

A million soldiers (soldiers) with grip of hard steel (steel),
whose bayonets are ever drawn,
on foot or saddle,
will give them battle,
and they will fight 'till we have won!
(2x)

Fanning the flame to the workers who yearn,
prisons and banks 'round the world will burn,
from the prairies and forests to wide ocean shore,
Our crimson army will bring them war!

A million soldiers (soldiers) with grip of hard steel (steel),
whose bayonets are ever drawn,
on foot or saddle,
will give them battle,
and they will fight 'till we have won!
(2x)

"March of the Defenders of Richmond"

A tribute to the soldiers of the Red Army that drove the armies of Natsoc New England back from gates of Richmond during the War of Patriotic Defense

-----------------------------------------

Before us our foes have retreated,
We march forth, so valiant and tall,
For behind is our home, undefeated,
Our Richmond will not ever fall.
With great valour we fight,
through the day and the night,
For our Richmond is e'er in our heart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!

With valour and vigor we're fighting,
beneath us the earth guides us on.
Behind us the workers uniting,
Red star shines a glorious dawn!
With great valour we fight,
through the day and the night,
For our Richmond is e'er in our heart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!

Together we've built up our city,
we've ploughed and we've seeded the land.
Whoever would dare to destroy it,
They shall face our iron hand!
With great valour we fight,
through the day and the night,
For our Richmond is e'er in our heart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!

Hearts beat as one, strong and mighty,
Our fury united will burn,
Our foe will be buried beneath us,
Richmond's gates will be their urn!
With great valour we fight,
through the day and the night,
For our Richmond is e'er in our heart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!

With great valour we fight,
through the day and the night,
For our Richmond is e'er in our heart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!
So by our righteous hand,
Mighty Richmond will stand,
from the fields every foe will depart!

Oh, I'm a good old rebel, for that is what I am.
And for this Boss-class nation, I do not give a damn!
I'm glad I fought again' her, I only wish we won.
And I ain't asked my pardon, for anything I done...

(Lets be honest here, the actual songs coming out of this enterprise are going to be far more like actual Southern music than some nostalgic Stalinist choristers. No matter how much I like both.)
