Some questions about a hypothetical Goldwater presidency 1964-1972

Firstly, when the People's Republic of China was admitted to the UN in 1971 Barry called for the US to cut funding to the UN. If he was President how far would he be willing to take that stance? Is the US leaving the UN, even if only temporarily, a possibility?

Also, does anyone know what his views were on the Bretton Woods Institutions, and how would his Presidency affect them?

Finally, given his support for Civil Rights, but strong states rights focus and distrust of excessive government intervention, what sort of civil rights legislation would he pass, and how would it differ from OTL?

I doubt it. He will most likely have a Democratic Congress that sees him as a shitstain, so they will override him. He may lessen funding, but he will be on thin ground no matter what, so he will be forced to still fund the UN

I'd say he'd pass no civil rights legislation. He'll veto anything Hubert Humphrey or some other liberal in the Senate drafts as it will prohibit businesses from segregating. If anything gets passed, it'll be useless with the teeth removed.
