hey, all. ive been working for a while on written designs for a potential historical/alternative historical RTS (and im also partly using it as a basis for an RPG im working on). anyway, i thought id share some maps that i made. there's one for each civilization. since photobucket is acting up, ill have to post each one with its own post as attachments
first up is the Confederates. a trend that i have with each of these maps is to display the civilization's real or modern, not-alternative area in a darker color while the maximum extent of that civilization is shown in a lighter color. here, the real former CSA is shown in a darker green while the rest of its potential area is in a lighter shade. the maximum extent is based on the American Empire from ghost in the shell (which had alot of the states that were in the CSA as a part of it and had a CSA-esque ideology of aggression and imperialism) and the maximum extent of the CSA in Timeline-191. while i WOULD normally have included content from CSA: Confederate States of America in the map, i decided against that because it would have included more of the western hemisphere than i would have liked.
but, if there's additions that you all think are deserving of mention, please say so
