Hello this is a alternative history where Lithuania accepts the offer from Germany to attack Poland But becomes a national socialist state.
Um, why didn't you just use the real life Lithuanian national socialist movement, the Voldemarininkai?Side notes:In real life no party named the Lietuviu patrijotišku socialistu partija existed it is fictional and it is a national socialist party.
I thought about it but i decided that i wanted a more extreme government than the Voldemarininkai. The extreme elements should appear during the end of the war.Um, why didn't you just use the real life Lithuanian national socialist movement, the Voldemarininkai?
Also, Lithuania officially declared neutrality in all foreign affairs far before the invasion of Poland, I don't see that they could instantly break their isolationist stance and join with Germany, when they didn't in our history (Germany offered Lithuania a chance to invade Poland together on the last days of August, Lithuania declined)I thought about it but i decided that i wanted a more extreme government than the Voldemarininkai. The extreme elements should appear during the end of the war.
Yes the german offer inspired me and for the isolationist thing, just lets say that Marcelė Kubiliūtė found Polish documents about the second commonwealthAlso, Lithuania officially declared neutrality in all foreign affairs far before the invasion of Poland, I don't see that they could instantly break their isolationist stance and join with Germany, when they didn't in our history (Germany offered Lithuania a chance to invade Poland together on the last days of August, Lithuania declined)
Great honor? I don't think I'm that important...Yes the german offer inspired me and for the isolationist thing, just lets say that Marcelė Kubiliūtė found Polish documents about the second commonwealth
Also great honor knowing that you commented on my althistory![]()
Thanks,in this scenario Kazys Škirpa will not be disappointed as i plan making Lithuania ally Germany, also i made Lithuania accept the German offer because if i denied it would be a copy of your we were martyrs scenario.Great honor? I don't think I'm that important...
I think with some tweaking, this can be a good scenario. There was indeed a chance that Lithuania could align with Germany, Kazys Škirpa was even later disappointed that Lithuania didn't take the chance (although, in his case, hindsight is 20-20)
There is something which you seem to have forgotten with your TL: Stalin.
The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was signed so that Germany wouldn't have to fight the Soviets in Poland. It gave Lithuania to Stalin. With a strong, warlike Lithuania doing all of these amazing feats of action all over Europe, that means Stalin doesn't get Lithuania.
Have you forgotten this?
No need to reinvent the wheel, Lithuania has an OTL Nazi flag:I always thought that a fascist Lithuania would have their medieval flag

This is slightly irrelevant, but that website is the craziest shit I've seen all day.I found it via Google on a Novorossiyan propaganda site, but I'm not sure if they maybe took it from elsewhere.
In real life Lithuania got a offer in late august from Germany that if they attacked Poland they would get Vilnius, hell the original pact Lithuania was in the German sphere but they gave up on it for a bit more of Poland. Also Lithuania is getting Military support from Germany. There is something which you seem to have forgotten with your TL: Stalin.

He probably did, but this can be explained by the idea that maybe the OTL modification to the M-R pact in September didn't take place, meaning that the original arrangement (Lithuania stays in German sphere, Soviets get more of Poland or something) stays in place. (Fun fact: the original version of the M-R pact did, indeed, put Lithuania in the German sphere.)
As for some criticism - to be honest, the overall poor grammar is kinda jarring and detracts strongly from the readability of the TL. Further, I'm also a bit skeptical about the format. Is this, like, a commander's diary? IMO, that sort of format really doesn't work all that well if you're just going to only mention the facts anyway and not say anything about the personal experiences of the commander in question (like some sort of anecdote about what happened during the invasion, or complaining about how his superiors are giving unrealistic orders that he cannot fulfill, or gloating about how easy things are going, or mentioning some local girl he flirted with while the squad was staying at a village, or commenting on the poor quality of the rations they have to eat... stuff like that). If you don't want to write that kind of stuff, it'd probably be better if you scrapped the diary and just went for a factual, history book-style enumeration of events. (Plus why is someone writing into his diary in second person?)
Why is there suddenly a king?
Not sure why the Lithuanian Nazis have decided to adopt a Nordic Cross-style of flag - especially one that just eschews the traditional yellow-red-green. Unless Hitler just told them that this is the flag they now have to fly... I mean, maybe they'd deface the tricolor with a fascist-style coat of arms, but why this flag? (I'm guessing you just wanted to use it? Where did you get it from, anyway? I found it via Google on a Novorossiyan propaganda site, but I'm not sure if they maybe took it from elsewhere.

Perhaps, but LITAS's flag is based on Baltic symbolism, I'd look there for a Nazi flag first. The Lithuanian National Union was founded in 2011 and agree on the website
