Slave owning African Kingdom in the 1730s Caribbean

so reading for a class and came across the 1733 slave insurrection on the Danish Island St. John, where enslaved Akwamu nobility revolted against their owners, these rebels planed to keep most slave in slavery and in the production of sugar, in OTL the French landed in 1734 and crushed the up-rising for the Dans (though the Dans had support for other Slaves as well) but what would an Akwamu Kingdom in the Caribbean look like? how long might it last?

Not long. Once they kick their organized and armed slave-masters from the islands, there won't be much protecting them from the wrath of their fellow slaves.

The French or British will take back the islands very quickly, probably just walking into the main towns to see the heads of the Akwamu on poles and their mutilated bodies cluttering the streets.

EDIT: And, the slaves who killed the Akamu would get away with no punishment, maybe even reward if they don't offer resistance. Happy ending for everyone! /sarcasm
