Sky Pirates Gunbus...alternate history?

Anyone familiar with the orginal film in this youtube video shows? It seems to be in WW1, but the zeppelin is clearly fantastic and more advanced and there are all sorts of airplanes which are clearly not from our time line...plus floating aerial mines. Technology in general seems different from our history.
