Size of the German diaspora in Europe in 2017 in a no-Nazis scenario

If the Nazis would have never come to power in Germany, how large would the German diaspora in Europe be in 2017 (as in, right now)?

Any thoughts on this?

If modern Germany would have still same borders as in OTL Weimar Republic, probably not much bigger than it was in OTL. But this depends what exactly happens instead Nazis and WW2.

Czechoslovakia would be around 25% German, Alsace would likely have a "German" speaking majority, while the German minority in Poland would likely have stabilised at around 0,5 million, USSR would likely have several million Germans. At last the Latvia would have a German minority of 4-7% of the population.

Beside that there would be a large Yiddish speaking population all over eastern Europe.

Depends on how big their fertility rates would be without WW2. It is pretty tough to say given how different history would be and how not having WW2 kill off millions of them and cause major trauma from uprooting would be. Probably tens of millions at a minimum.
