Prompt/Idea/Challenge for the People!

What if instead of George III being physical capable but plagued by mental illness it was the other way around? What if he was mentally sound and healthy but physically frail?

George III was born 2 months prematurely and was thought unlikely to survive but despite that grew into a healthy but shy and reserved child and was in fact the first British future-monarch who was systematically tutored in the sciences among numerous other subjects and it is said he did well in them all - despite everything he was no idiot, but as he grew older he had bouts of mental illness until eventually he was permanently incapacitated by it.

What if he was never prone to or suffered mental illness but his premature birth left him physically frail instead, that while he survived it him undersized, weak, and prone to injury? That as he was tutored and grew, he knew he would never be the physical ideal so instead he strove to be the mental ideal and threw himself into his studies, the sciences, and innovation? Then when his father died and he became heir to the throne at 13 this desire solidified and became even more important - if he could not be a Warrior King, he would be a Scholar King.

So as other royals and upper class children were taught and did more physical pursuits, he was in the library with the best tutors in the country learning all he could and as he became a teen and young man he would invite the best scientists and thinkers of the time to speak and work with him.

Que Benjamin Franklin moving to London in the late 1750's to campaign for the colonies interests and to work with the scientists of the motherland (despite their disagreements with his arguments for the colonies he was admired and feted by the British elite for his intelligence) who would naturally be invited to speak with the Prince, and upon meeting they get on really well together and Franklin quickly becomes one of Prince George's closest advisers/tutors/friends/colleagues.

Essentially the idea for discussion/somebody to take on etc is the George III is mentally healthy, scholarly and intelligent but physically frail and when Benjamin Franklin moves to London they get on really well.

What if effect would it have? How would history change with Benjamin Franklin being one of Prince-then-King George's closest friends? How would the British elite's attitude towards colonials change (if they do)? While I don't think the 7 years war would change given George III only became King half way through it and I wouldn't think him being more intelligent and academically-focused would effect its outcome, how much would the post-war change? Britain is in debt from the war but has solidified it's place as the dominant nation in Europe and while he couldn't do much while the war was going on George could start to have an effect once it's peace again - influencing Parliament, Businessmen and the Elites, etc. What would and could he do? Expand the Universities? Funnel more funding to research, innovation, and development? Encourage and support MP's and ministers and potential ones in Gov't that are more educated and like-minded? With one of his closest advisers being Franklin and being told by him of the situation in the colonies and Franklin being an advocate for them and telling him of their desires, problems, and needs what could he do himself and get parliament to do with respect to them? How would the post-war relationship between the British in the home nations and the British-in-America and colonies develop with a King more mindful and understanding of them with one of their favored sons being so close to him?
