Shorter lived Louis XIV

Louis XIV was king of France for 72 years, longest of all the kings of France (although I guess the first couple of years barely count) and reached the age of 76, which was pretty old in those days, even for a king. He was one of the most brilliant rulers of France, but his policies were some of the causes of the French revolution decades later. So what if he lived and ruled a couple of years less, lets say 20 years or so. Lets say Louis XIV dies just after the treaty of Ryswick (so not to intervene in the War of the Grand Alliance)*. What would be the results for France and the rest of Europe (or even the world)?

*I don't have a specific POD in mind, just the concept.

With his son the Grand Dauphin reigning after him and his grandson (Louis XV father) also after him, new blood would come and go as well as fresh ideas that were lost as Louis XIV and his own views continued well past their time.

1685 would be a good year for Louis the Sun King to die. This would give the Grand Dauphin a good chance to show himself as a King. He could rule for a good while, setting it so that his grandson is not a spoiled puppet. It is likely that the Grand Dauphin would fight the War of Spanish Succession - just to show that he was greater than his father.
