So-2nd February 1943 is one of the main days for World history-great battle for Stalingrad finished.
Indeed.
Germany has lost near 1.5 million of person(all victims by Germany and its allies), whole german Army was defeated(first time since Napoleon's wars)
Well, one half of one third of the two thirds of the German army that were deployed on the Eastern Front, so ~11% of the whole German army. Still an incredibly vast amount of casualties in a single battle.
it was the main page of WW2, which predetermined UN victory.
I'd certainly agree with that.
Glory to Soviet soldiers, defeated best german troops!
Because the Germans assigned the worst troops from Germany's allies to guard their flank.
And now about AH-what PoDs could be at the period of this battle?
Simplest - Operation Uranus is anticipated by the Germans, and the Soviet counterattack is counterencircled.
Adolf Hitler allows German units to guard the cities flank, not overstretched, demoralized, ill-equipped Hungarians, Romanians, and Italians.
Hitler allows a German retreat.
Stalin allows a Soviet retreat.
Hitler allows the encircled Sixth Army to attempt to break out of the Stalingrad pocket.
Hitler does not listen to Goering, and organizes a relief force rather than attempting to air-supply the Sixth Army.
The German supply dumps are situated in Stalingrad, rather than 40 miles away.
Paulus agrees to Hitler's orders to fight to the last man.
Hitler doesn't split Army Group South, and instead allows the entire army group to continue its offensive in the Caucasus. Baku is probably captured, which would have a significant impact on the war, and the Battle of Stalingrad either doesn't happen at all, or happens much later.
Stalin doesn't transfer the entire reserves of the Soviet Army and Air Force to Stalingrad.
Edit: Also, Soviets successfully encircle all of Army Group South.
