Serbian Spring- How does it start?

In a story I'm writing, Princip fails to assassination Ferdinand due to the car not making the wrong turn, and returns to Serbia.

Is there any way he could be involved in the start of either a Serbian Civil War, or cause a popular uprising against AH?

Well, Prime Minister Pašić was having big problems with Black hand, so new coup ( like in 1903 ) is a possibility, especially if they found out that Pašić warned the A-H. ( that wasthe reason why Pašić was so cautius n warning, in effect making it meaningless and even warmongering )
But Civil War, and Princip having large role in it- I sincerely doubt. He was a useful fool used by much smarter people.

Princip was a nobody with a gun part of a much larger conspiracy that so happened to get the final shot on Franz-Ferdinand. He was by no means charasmatic, important, or known enough to start any sort of popular uprising in Serbia or against Austria-Hungary.

More likely then not he is returned to AH by Serbia since the Austrians probably do not get a blank-cheque from Germany but still put pressure on Serbia.

Serbian civil war (at that point of time) isn't happening. Period.

As for a (real) greater role in any popular uprising against AH, it would maybe be possible if Gavrilo Princip was anything other than an impressionable young man dancing on the strings of colonel Apis.

Hmm, on second thoughts, given I switch characters already in the story, forget Princip. I just need to provoke either a coup of some kind, or...something.
