SECOND GLANCE as Christian AH

I saw this Christian movie at my mate's place on Sat night- man, what a phenomenal story from an AH perspective, since it involves 1 young Christian teenager, Danny, who's disillusioned with his faith, feeling he's totally ineffectual towards facilitating meaningful change in his school, so he asks God to make it as though he never were a Christian. With his prayer answered, it's like he's stepped into an alternate reality, where so many things he took for granted in his Christian life just aren't there anymore- his parents are divorced ITTL (OTL his prayers kept em together), his OTL sister was aborted, there's no Christian students assocation at the school, 1 of the guys he was helpin out ended up committing suicide ITTL since Danny wasn't there with his positive input. Although Danny ITTL as a non-Christian is more popular- goin out with the stunning blonde & being able to attend a big party- he finds the experience much more trouble than it's worth in the end, since another chick accuses him of 2-timing, he loses his girlfriend, & the jilted girls' boyfriend comes along with his buddies to beat the crap outta Danny. Then at the end, the storyline reverts back to OTL, since this ATL was only provided by the Almighty for 24 hrs as a glimpse for Danny to see how MUCH he needs God- definitely the closest I've seen from any Christian production in dealing with AH by far...

Reading the synopsis, we realize how thankful we should all be that there isn't more Christian AH out there. Talk about an author tract.

Though it still pales in comparison to the masterpiece of smarmy self-righteousness that was "Time Changer".

Wait, his prayers kept them together? Hah.

and its don't end yet if they had divorce the two would have found better people to be with, with the power of god keeping them together their psyche became a total mess feel the desperate urge to keep their mariage together despiste how unhappy it make them. They finally discovered what trully make them connect is the kidnapping of young people and subsequent torturing, abuses and murder, since then they are the happiest couple on the bloc

His non-aborted sister become part of the abuse cycle and later become a mass murderer sought in 12 states

Marriage can sometimes be difficult and needs both parties to work on it.

Why work on it if prayer does the job?
Why assume the two are mutually exclusive? Most explanations of prayer in such matters involve the idea that God provides, when asked, the strength the couple need to work on it.

The point of this story is apparently that if someone else hadn't asked, God would have allowed the couple to fall apart.
