I think this is a new spin from a tired subject. Please read the whole post.

Adolf Hitler, disregarding his timid generals and his naysaying admirals, orders Operation Sealion launched. The initial landings begin on September 22nd 1940 and have some initial successes on S-Day. The British, shocked Hitler would try such a lunatic idea, spend the first day of the invasion recovering and regrouping. The best the German military can say about the next three days is that at least the military operating budgets, especially for the Kreigsmarine, won’t need to be so big for quite a while. The invasion is a disaster, nearly all of the invasion personnel are lost as are most of the Kreigsmarine units participanting. In addition, the Luftwaffe suffers heavy losses.
HOWEVER:
In the initial landing at Bexhill by the 34th infantry division there are several sharp encounters. In one of them, an observation post for D Battery of the 56th Heavy Regiment of the London Division is overrun. A number of the defenders are killed, including a signaller, Gunner T. Milligan, 954024. What are the post-war results of this man’s death?
