Sealion Spiked

I think this is a new spin from a tired subject. Please read the whole post.

Adolf Hitler, disregarding his timid generals and his naysaying admirals, orders Operation Sealion launched. The initial landings begin on September 22nd 1940 and have some initial successes on S-Day. The British, shocked Hitler would try such a lunatic idea, spend the first day of the invasion recovering and regrouping. The best the German military can say about the next three days is that at least the military operating budgets, especially for the Kreigsmarine, won’t need to be so big for quite a while. The invasion is a disaster, nearly all of the invasion personnel are lost as are most of the Kreigsmarine units participanting. In addition, the Luftwaffe suffers heavy losses.
HOWEVER:
In the initial landing at Bexhill by the 34th infantry division there are several sharp encounters. In one of them, an observation post for D Battery of the 56th Heavy Regiment of the London Division is overrun. A number of the defenders are killed, including a signaller, Gunner T. Milligan, 954024. What are the post-war results of this man’s death?

Thande might thank you for killing Monthy Python in it's OTL form, but other than that let me quote a certain movie:

You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!

Would Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe have any sort of a future in this ATL? Would they even meet?

Monty Python is worth at least 100,000 Nazis.

Don't worry guys, given that the KM has lost most of its surface units, and dozens of U-boats, the Luftwaffe has lost over a thousand aircraft and 80-90% of its paratroopers, and the Germans have lost a good portion of their river barges, the butterflies for the Third Reich will be far worse. Milligan shall not have died in vain!

You offed Spike.
You complete and utter barsteward!
How very dare you!
How very, very, very dare you!
:D ;)

One post war result to throw into the pot - I don't almost wet myself laughing when reading his war memoirs.

No not at all, if i were given the ability to choose whether to live in that world or this one I would choose this one without hesitation.

Spike Milligan nearly had me banned from the public library for rowdiness. Apparently howling with laughter while reading his war memoirs is not acceptable behaviour in a library. But with pictures captioned "Afrika Korps practice Heil Hitler on horseback" and "British soldiers rowing a boat up a street in search of a river" how could you not crack up.

Precisely :) I tried to read some of the funnier bits aloud to my parents - couldn't get more than two words out before I cracked up :D
