Scythians and Tocharians,as we all know, were dominant peoples in the West Central Asia along the Silk Road and beyond touching the borders of India and establishing various dynasties in India and leaving a significant mark on the History, culture and the peopling of the South Asia. Scythians established the Indo-Scythian kingdoms in India and later dissolving into the population. Tocharians established the famous Kushan Empire along with various Eastern Iranian peoples of the Central Asia leaving large amount of influence on both Persia and India.

The West Central Asia including the Caucasus played a role of a crucible for Indian Subcontinent,Europe and the Middle East(Hurro-Urartian migrations) and the regions these influenced as the Indo-Europeans and the Uralic peoples trace their origin to this region.

In this timeline,we will make a version of Hungary in India too. Hungary today is mostly said to have descended from Central Asian migrants comprising of Magyars,Caucasians,Scythio-Sarmatians who all came with the Huns to Pannonia settling there and mixing with the minority of people living there like Romans,Celts and maybe some Slavs. Bulgaria and some other Eastern European nations have such roots too. The Scythians and the Tocharians would migrate into Indian subcontinent earlier joining the Indo-Aryans again from whom they had split off less than a millennium ago.

This would happen before the rise of Alexander and if possible even before the rise of the Achaemenid empire. They would encounter a different India. Scythians,Sogdians and Tocharians build a strong and a large semi agricultural confederation stretching from Tarim Basin to Caucasus taking in several people in these lands like how the Hunnic confederations did later. Dominant are Scythians,Sogdians and Tocharians. They quickly move into the Indian subcontinent during Vedic era itself and joining the Indo-Aryans and building large Agricultural settlements, city states and ethno-religious Empires. Now these people form a humongous population of the Saptha Sindhu region and the Himalayan foothills and plains. There evolves a Vedic,Iranian and Tocharian based Indo-European religion like the Hindu-Buddhist-Zoroastrian hybrid. The earlier populations are too small to stand out in terms as a separate populations after this massive wave comes in during the Mid Vedic age and newer waves of smaller migrations later containing mostly Western Iranian and Caucasian peoples mainly and a minority of the Scythio-Tocharian peoples continues upto the Mahajanapadas when the smaller kingdoms grew in size, population and influence. Now you have a version of Greece,Rome,Hungary,France,Bulgaria and Turkey inside India formed in various ways similar to the formation of these nations. How would this India look in the later days? How would they face the Persians and the Greeks? How would the religions and cultures develop across the Central Asia and parts of Caucasus that falls under the sphere of this large empire? How would Tibet which is a neighbour look like? How would China look like? What would happen to the Turks and Mongols? Do they migrate in and assimilate or migrate elsewhere from the Altai mountains and Mongolia later in the 4th-13th century CE as this empire rule, population and territory crystallizes around 3rd Century BCE to 2nd Century CE and too strong by that time to touch. How would Greece and Rome fare? How would SE Asia be like? Explore the various other interesting possibilities with this.

Indian subcontinent is relatively more diverse linguistically in this timeline less socio-culturally,religiously and ethnically.
