SCENES FROM ONE FILM THAT SHOULD BE IN ANOTHER

I love going to Movies. But every so often, I see a Scene that would work better in a another film.
Example the fight between Obi Wan Komobi and Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones. That was what I imaganed when I heard of Return of the Jedi. I figure it start with a Fight between the jedi Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett like what I saw in Attack of the Clones.

Another example is in the Third Matrix Movie. I love the Power Armour with the Gatling Guns fighting off the robots. In part Because It was what I figure should have been in Alien 3. It a logical devolpment from Aliens and Ripley fighting the creatures with power armour.

I even had a Comic book example. When A Death in the Family story line appeared in Batman comics and Kill Jason Todd as Robin in the third part, I figure that Batman would be push to the edge and consider killing the Joker. We did not get that. When the Hush Story line came out, Batman has the fight with the Joker that I wanted after Jason Todd death. And the Only reason Batman does not kill the Joker is because Gorden stopped him. I wish that that had been the final issue of Death in the Family. It devolped the Character.

Does any one else have any example that they notice?

James Bond scenes

And several of the James Bond movies are examples of this.

Diamonds are Forever has Bond go to Amsterdam. The first time I saw the Movie I exspected a boat chase on the canals like we saw in Pupet on a Chain or the Horror Movie Amsterdamn.

Live and Let Die. There were scenes in the Book that were not in the Movie but turn up in Latter films including Bond and the Girl being Dragged behind a Boat over the reef in For Your Eye Only and Flix Lieter being mauled by a Shark was in Licence to Kill.

For Your Eyes Only: The battle between the two mini subs was boring. It should have been more like the Battle between Mini Subs in the Abyss.

Bourne. Bond. I prefer the directing of Bourne better (Greengrass), but the Bond mythology has its perks. Yeah, I know the last 2-3 Bonds copied the style of Bourne, but it felt a bit off...

As far as I'm concerned the 'testing sequence' from Alan Pakula's Parallex View is how Stanley Kubrick should have done the indoctrination of Alex in A Clockwork Orange.

Spoilers: Okay, so McDowell's character is subjected to personality modification in order to make him reject violence, while Beatty is being mentally primed by the MIC to become a rogue assassin. That doesn't change the fact that Pakula's depiction of indoctrination is both supremely cinematic and manipulative, while Kubrick somehow made the comparable scene in his movie come across as totally lifeless and boring.

The car chase fron the second Bourne film could have been in Goldeneye in place of the tank chase.

And the horrible bond in a Gondula scene from Moonraker could have taken place in a regular boat like the scene in the remake of The Italian Job

I agree with you

Concerning your mention of Death in the Family Batman story. Have you seen The animated Batman Under the Red Hood. If you have not you should it might have the better ending you envisioned.

I saw it a few years ago. Spoilers

I remember Jason Todd alive and beating up Joker till Batman stops him. The Hush issue is very much the same but with Gordon Stopping him

The Destroyer

I saw some of the Remo William Movie today. I thought that it could have been closer to the Books with Parkour in the Movie as seen in Casino Royal
and District b13. Matrix style effects would have fitted in. Even getting someone like Ching Su-tung or Yuen Woo-ping as the Martial Art Choreographer would have helped.
