Verse 1
On 1472, Mary the rich, the heiress of Burgundy marries Charles, duke of Guyenne and Normandy at 15 years of age and the proxy marriage with Juana of Castile was nullified due to non-consummation of the marriage, the marriage of Mary and Charles was short due to Charles, duke of Guyenne, Mary of Burgundy would give birth to a daughter in February 4, 1474 which she would name as Beatrice.
In the same time Margaret of York would give birth to a daughter named Margaret on January 4, 1474, Mary of Burgundy would give birth to another daughter on June 4, 1476 named Catherine of Berry.
Margaret of Burgundy would be betrothed to the Dauphin in order to sue peace between the French and the Burgundians, on 1477, Mary of Burgundy would be widowed by the death of the Duke of Guyenne due to a sickness.
Mary of Burgundy would remarry to the son of the Duke of Saxony, Frederick in order to get an alliance of Burgundy on 1478 in order for Burgundy to get an alliance with Saxony rather than marrying the son of the Holy Roman Emperor, the marriage would later give Frederick a number of votes for the Emperorship once he succeeds as elector in 1486, this is not an issue yet because Charles the bold would still would want to have a son with his wife Margaret of York but at this point it will be impossible and the inheritance of Burgundy to Saxony would be possible, however it would wait till the death of Charles.
