ive recently heard of rumors surrounding an incident in the first world war were trains of Scottish soldiers were mistaken for Russian troops.
if the star actually sent troops, say 50 regiments sailing from Archangel'sk in march 1915 and arriving in Edinburgh in the April. the regiments then travel from Scotland to the south coast in trains and join the fight on the western front.
how would the war have finished differently?
would the Russian civil war have been the same?
any large differences at all?
