ok, Russia is a country that has probably had the worst luck in terms of leadership in the world, or at the very least scores in the top five. here's my question.
Peter the Great was able to take Russia from being a backwards, medieval kingdom into a modern European empire through a process of aggressive westernization and modernization. Now what happens if, after Peter the Great, all the Romanovs have the same obsession with modernization, as well as something at least near Peter the Greats leadership ability and intelligence, and interest in maintaining the autocratic position of the Tsar. what does Russia, and more-over, Europe, look like by the 1900's?
