As we all know, it is AH law that if the Bolsheviks fail to take over Russia or lose the Russian Civil War, the resulting country will be a weak republic bound to become fascist, with the term "Vozhd" being thrown around like coffee candy. At least, that seems to be agreed outcome of White Russia in the Interwar Period.

And I suppose it holds some merit, there would be a platform for clerical fascists and sometimes outright Not!Nazis to take power in what would most likely be a weak state following the RCW.

So here's a topic for discussion - in the event of a White Russian victory, who do you think would be the most likely Vozhd?

If you want an ultra nationalist nazi analogous leader then your only options are kolchak Cyril or purishkevich

Kornilov was central Asian wrangel was Baltic German, kazembek was Azeri. They could be reactionary leaders but a non ethnic Russian could hardly lead explicitly ethnonationalist Russian government.

Savinkov was an anti tsar terrorist making him unsuitable and vlasov joined the red army in 1919 making him doubly unsuitable.

It all really depends on what kind of right wing dictatorship you want.

Kolchak already launched a coup and appointed himself "Supreme Ruler". He's got all the tendencies.

Vlasov and Kazembek - nah. White victory creates too much divergence for them to get anywhere.

Cyril - a restoration of monarchy is unlikely, and even if it happens there are more probable candidates than this guy. Still, it's not impossible, and could be an interesting scenario.

Kolchak - well, he was the chief White leader in OTL, but...not really the right personality for this. Neurotic (if well-intentioned), politically daft, and not nearly active enough. Even the coup that brought him to power wasn't his own doing, and the coup plotters barely managed to badger him into taking power.

Purishkevich - too old/died to early. Otherwise might have worked, he has the right profile as the sanest, most broadly appealing - and most cunning - of the Black Hundreds.

Savinkov - this could actually work.

Wrangel - could also work.

Kornilov - the most plausible one on the list, I think.

Other options: one of the more politically savvy White generals, like Boldyrev or Denikin. I don't really think a dictatorship, let alone fascist dictatorship, would be inevitable for Russia, but that's not the topic.
