Its commonly believe that Frederick the Great was only saved because Elizabeth had an untimely death as as she was besieging Berlin and that Peter III actually was fond of Frederick and his kingdom's culture so he stopped the war.

So what would happen if the Russians went on with their war?

1) In this scenario Elizabeth survives much longer, at least enough to witness the long term results of the war

2)Peter decides to screw it and continue sending armies after Elizabeth's death

Is there any chance of Frederick II winning (or at least surviving long enough to convince Russia to abandon the war)? Supposing he's fucked up in either scenario, what is the long term effect of Russian conquest of Prussia? Would Russia attempt to invade the rest of Germany? Specifically I am curious how differently Elizabeth would handle victory from Peter assuming they win enough to capture Frederick at least.
