Rump Axis Poland

What the title says, this being more of a technically orientated topic rather than political. Have read a couple of topics on the subject, some are adamant that it can't be done (arguing that alternate history is not possible ...on AH.com) but i have a very "simple" scenario: Hitler decides that he will go for France first, the R-M pact is still signed, to everyone's shock France falls in 6 weeks, BEF is mostly destroyed etc. Suddenly Poland is alone, and as soon as France falls USSR makes it's move on Poland, and there is war between them. At this stage, probably the poles are increasingly desperate to get some kind of deal with Germany. The increasingly hard pressed poles are now faced with a "lenient" german ultimatum (which are looking with one eye at Stalin and with the other at UK), the Danzig and the corridor and some other areas perhaps go to Germany, the east go to USSR, in return for the germans "guaranteeing" the remaining rump Poland (like they did with Romania) by sending a military "training" mission in.

So, what is the impact of this rump Poland on WW2, especially their participation in the war as german allies (like Romania, Hungary, Finland etc.), the impact of polish air force and army on Barbarossa, eventual Don battles of 1942 etc. Would appreciate knowledgeable opinions from polish members regarding the polish military evolution in this scenario, the military and economical relationship with Germany, postwar developments, perhaps they have been toying with such a scenario before?

Thank you.
