Now, China has always shown a trend to slowly expand. This trend abruptly ended in the beginning of the fifteenth century with the Acquisition of Hindustan, when China gained control of the Hind and stopped expanding after, that eventually even losing the Hind and declining into a third-rate power. If China had not invaded Timurid-ruled Hindustan and established a trading empire there, instead of investing all their resources keeping the Hindustanis down, could they have continued expanding peacefully and become a true superpower?
