Roman Banking System Overhaul

This can have beneficial effects over time (Early modern Europe), or it can be irrelevant (Ming China).

Irrelevant? Yea, if you hate porn.

It didn't lead to a scientific revolution, but the printing press had huge effects in East Asia.

I'm aware that Roman Numerals need to be completely revamped; this is kinda the first step. Maybe the Romans could use the Hindu-Arabic system, but use Roman numbers instead (see attached image).
Hopefully the pic makes sense .

Use the greek numbers to create a roman version of the hindu-arabic system seems to me better and easier that create new numbers.
αʹ > 1
βʹ > 2
γʹ > 3
δʹ > 4
εʹ > 5
ϝʹ or ϛʹ or στʹ > 6
ζʹ > 7
ηʹ > 8
θʹ > 9
ō > 0

I'm 99% certain this is poking fun of me (in a good way), but yes, I do.

The first half is the reason for me calling it (in China) irrelevant. It could make a huge splash without being in the right direction for this particular kind of change.

Well I was thinking to squish the letters into one, so IV = 'Number 4 on the pic', but I like your idea better, because it won't get confused with the Roman Alphabet.
