So, something I've been throwing around in my head for a while, curious as to your thoughts:
Robert Stuart otl was born in 1602 and died in 1603,he was created duke of Kintyre and Lorne before he died though.
I’m debating whether to have him be born in 1598, or keep him at his orl birthdate but have Charles die in 1603 instead, and then have Henry Frederick die in 1612 as otl, with his sisters Mary and Sophia surviving, and perhaps one mot boy being born.
In either case, Robert would grow up to be somewhat politically flexible on some things, but a very good military commander, and would view politics as an extension of that
As to Robert's views religion wise:
I can see him being Anglican and episcopalian hybrids if that makes sense. So support in England and the highlands would be strong alongside in the east coast.
Potential marriage candidates:
Sophie of Denmark (b.1605), Elisabeth of Denmark (b.1606)-both died after birth otl
Sophie Eleonore of Saxony (b.1609)
Maria of Spain (b.1603)-died after birth otl- or her sister Maria Anna of Spain (b.1606)
Christine of France (b.1605) or Henrietta Maria of France (b.1609)
Archduchess Christine of Austria (b.1601)-died after birth otl- Archduchess Maria Anna of Austria (b.1610)
Catherine of Brandenburg (b.1604)
