Robert Curthose, King of England?

Let us say that the Rebellion of 1088, which failed partially due to bad weather on the Channel preventing Robert from actually sending troops to England, and partially due to bad organization, actually manages to succeed. Perhaps the bad weather of OTL is not so, and Robert's troops arrive in England, or Odo manages to win the Siege of Pevensey. Anyway, Robert becomes king; what does he do? How is he as a king (I'm assuming terrible given his OTL record as a ruler)? Does he achieve militarily what William Rufus did IOTL?

Well by all accounts he was a good commander but a bad general.
He also seems less administratively good than William II.
Thus I expect he'd be worse that William II Rufus as king and fare worse in the battles against Scotland.
Ironically I think dissent with his rule would converge on his younger brother Henry and we could see Robert meet with his own "hunting accident" or die during the crusades.
If so then Henry I will start out King slightly earlier than OTL with a stronger Scotland to the north but better control over Normandy. Since TTL there are more Scottish princes we could see Henry promote civil war.
Depending on how lower level butterflies fade out the situation at the end of Henry's reign could be near identical to ours.

TL DR: short term differences but long term much like OTL
