I just read that René Goscinny passed away this morning at the age of 92. Many think of him as the finest writer in francobelgian comic book history. It's incredibly sad news of course, but given his nearly fatal heart attack in the late 70's we must be very grateful for having had him with us for so long.
So what are your favourite works of his? What do you think about the evolution of the "Asterix" series in the last four decades, or Goscinny's contribution to other comic books as well as television and cinema?
