Richard I and the Third Crusade

WI: Richard had actually succeeded in re-taking Jerusalem. The problem now is the future government of the kingdom. The barons did'nt want Guy of Lusignan who only became king through his wife who died along with her children during the siege of Acre. Richard I believe, was known to have supported Guy. Would Richard as conqueror of Jerusalem demand that Guy be reinstated as king, or would someone else become king?

Richard didn't take Jerusalem because he knew that it was impossible to defend without the fortresses along the Jordan, and that the troop losses from fighting and those who'd just go home would be better spent securing what was left of the Kingdom of Jerusalem in hope of a better situaiton in the future.
