RFK's VP pick?

I am thinking moderate Southerner, Terry Sanford perhaps.

Stanford was HH's Campaign Manager though- like how he declines HH's offer for the VP slot, it's not unlikely Stanford's going to decline RFK's same offer, though out of honor and respect to Humphrey, as acceptance of RFK's offer would have been seen as a blatant stab in the back.

How about Ralph Yarborough, though he is kinda cliche at this point (I say, having written a TL with this as part of the premise)?

Sanford, Yarbrough, or McCarthy (if he really need to) are all likely choices.

Maybe Pat Brown if Bobby's wants California pretty much guaranteed.
