Return of Horrible Educational Maps

Kamchatka is in European Region. (Also Lebanon but not Israel, it looks like)

It is what one might call Middle East & North Africa that is "Eastern Mediterranean".

Thought it is weird that the Americas is "Region of the Americas" rather than the Americas Region like all the others. And also it is weird that Algeria is excluded from "Eastern Mediterranean".

Edit: Wait, is Djibouti in the European Region??

DPRK is not data grey rather than South East Asian Region I presume.
It sort of makes sense.
The only oddity I see is Algeria - which should be in the 'Eastern Meditterean' region/

That last sentence looks odd - that is because the definition of regions is odd - Eastern Mediterranean should be Arabic/Persian region.
Djibouti is in 'Eastern Meditterean' which as above is really Arabic region.

So the main errors are the bad choice of colours and the bad naming of regions. The regions themselves make some sense.

Middle East being the "European Region" while Europe is the "Eastern Mediterrenean Region" would be the weirdest thing ever but I don't think the mapmakers went that far.

However it would fit with a random game map I stumbled upon:

Admittedly with it being a game there is no educational need to be correct. Heck, in one Civ V game I did with the world map it took me a while to figure out that the random starting location had sent my Germans to mainland China (Well, both Berlin and Beijin begin with Be- and end with -in, so at least that is some sort of continuity)

But still labeing a civilization Europa and then have it only touching the outermost fringes of its namesake continent does look a wee bit odd.

Rome never controlled the Sea of Azov (off the Black sea), much less Uraine north of that. (and I can't quite tell from the map, that area labeled Roman might include Moscow, be an interesting part of the "Third Rome" concept)

Ah yes, Europa, located in the Arabian Peninsula with territory stretching from the Gaza Strip to the northern reaches of Central Asia.
