I like how they mention the UAE twice without ever actually getting its name right.

That's at least a sextuple word score.

Also, the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth appears to have reformed, while, Germany has remained divided.

It's almost a week since we went educationally bad, I guess it's time for the next one:

Beware the Greater Swiss Empire and Czechoslovakonorthhungaryandabitofsouthernpoland.

    And the horribly partitioned Romania.

And I’m pretty sure Poland’s eastern border didn’t look like that.

Looks like the Greater Swiss Empire (tm @Analytical Engine ) inspired France to expand south-west too, using some sort of land-warping technique...

Northern Ireland really wanted to assert the value of its name, and the Republic felt that it wasn’t going to have any of that without keeping an eye on things, so here we are.

This is just so beyond terrible. It has exactly zero redeeming qualities, they got almost literally everything wrong, there are two Romanias for some reason, and, well, how did this even get made? What sources could they possibly have derived this from? I don't even understand.

It's not educational, but I thought this fits here.

By the standards of this thread, that's not bad.

For a short while, I thought Africa looked like the shape of India or at least the southern and central (along with a little bit of the northern) parts of the country.

Especially when you consider the source material with which that map maker had to work.
Also he had to restrain his appetite to not eat his work, something which doesn't happen to most other maps (well, that Europe made from marzipan might also have that risk)

A little ranch dressing for Antarctica and northern North America, some honey mustard for the Sahara. Some guac for the Amazon and the forests of Russia...
