Resources on Slavic Paganism and Kievan Rus

Hello,

Hopefully this is in the right spot, anyways I am looking into doing an AAR for Crusader Kings 2, once the Historical Improvement Mod is finished updating, and that AAR will be about a Slavic pagan Kiev that transitions from a tribal land to an empire while 'reforming' the faith. More to reflect the growing centralization that will be happening within the empire.

Anyways there are things I am wondering about and if anyone can help me fill out the details. Especially as I plan on modding some things in, while others will just be revealed through the AAR.

To that end, I would like some good resources on Slavic paganism. While there is wikipedia which has been a great big help, I would like other resources on Slavic Paganism. Most of the resources I tended to find were in languages other then English, ie Ukrainian, Russian and Polish. However I only know English, so having resources aside from wiki in English would be good.

Also good resources in English of Kievan Rus. While the Kievan Rus of OTL was an Orthodox Christian realm and mine will be a slavic pagan country, I assume there will still be plenty of similarities between the two realms. At the very least, it can help me add more details of things and perhaps rename some of the various more generic honorary titles.

Also if people have ideas on how things might evolve in such a pagan realm, that would also be welcome. :)

So I am not an expert on Slavic paganism, although I think you could be forgiven somewhat from borrowing elements from modern Rodnovery.

Why I am responding however is to suggest looking into other nearby religions for inspiration.

When it comes to theological development, its rare for anything to be isolated in the elements it develops, a trend which if anything is more amplified the more complex a religion becomes.
See for instance the development of Shia Islam, often thought of as the messianic branch of Islam and one that became prominent in Persia, a land that had an incredibly strong tradition of messianic thought (The Saoshyant, Mani and Christ, the messianic jewish community etc).

@CountPeter I am looking into Rodnovery, and other neo-pagan faiths such as Suomenusko for Finnish Paganism, as I do plan on having the nearby faiths have some impact depending on the region; ie those near Finland will have more Finnish elements compared to those in Kiev.

I am curious what other information and resources, particularly for Kiev Rus' people have. :)
