italian war aims without ljubiana.png

Coul someone improve this map of Italy and turn it into a qbam-version (for this map format https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/479106378724540417/701227733694283846/unknown.png ) with transparent background ? Need also to add the province of Ljubiana to it https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provincia_di_Lubiana#/media/File:ProvinciaDiLubiana1941_43.png and fix the part of Montenegro Italy owns. In our world they only wanted Kotor from Montenegro (not all of its coast) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Province_of_Cattaro

Could someone come up with symbols for the following peoples (symbols as in the fleur-de-lis for French, crescent and star for Turkic/Muslim, etc.):
- Moesians
- Nuristanis
- Tocharians
- Tartessians
- Iberians (pre-Roman)
- Nuragics
- Yukaghirs
These would be greatly appreciated, especially the Tocharian and Yukaghir symbols.
all of these existed in a pre-"visual identity" era in that symbols associated with a given ethnic group (as opposed to their ruler) is a fairly recent concept. I would suggest that either you go with whether symbol their modern-day "descendants" might used or other wise develop their culture within your ATL first and then think of symbols which might be appropriate to represent them.

@CarloGoldoni Do you think you can help me with mine as well perhaps?

I’m currently trying to puzzle out a logo for the Super-Powered Legends team known as The Sentinels (An homage to the cinematic Avengers) and am currently focussing in the idea of a stylised eye design.

- My first concept is a simple ‘Eye and shield’ design, with the classic triangular shield in place of the pupil of a stylised human eye.

- My second concept is for the eye to have a round pupil with an ‘S’ on it (Suggesting a round shield at the middle of a stylised design - obviously a triangular ‘S’ shield risks attracting the most terrifyingly powerful and relentless entities in the Superhero Cosmos … copyright lawyers).

- The motto “Sentinels Stand Together” or “Sentinels Stand Tall” may also appear.

May I please ask which if these designs might work best?

because a "S" within a shield might be, OTL, too closely identified with Superman, I think the idea of a stylised eye logo within a shield might be better. something like this, perhaps:

I was thinking something like a symbol to represent those peoples in Civilisation.

Unrelated: Does anyone have good resources on where the various varieties of Hmong (e.g. White Hmong, Blue/Green Hmong) are spoken in Vietnam and Laos?

Dear M. Pasquin, as ever you do excellent work!

I can definitely imagine a superhero using this design, though it feels a bit more like the logo of a single superhero (probably a Superman-type powerhouse) or even the icon of a Good-aligned DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS demigod (Actually one can imagine a superhero who was a little of both!) rather than an Avengers-type hero team.

May I please ask if you would be willing to try an eye design with a three-pointed shield in place of the pupil? (The outer eye shape would suggest vigilance, the circle suggesting the iris solidarity & equality in the same way of the round table, the shield protection and security).

Thank You for taking the time to consider my ideas even if you lack the time to draw up more than one depiction! (Also, may I please ask if you think white or gold would work better on a black background to suggest a team of heroes standing against the darkness?).

I've been trying to modify a US Election Atlas state map, and while I've been able to find a few examples people have made that I can use, I was wondering if there's a thread or other collection of them that have been made somewhere. If not, I have specific requests.

You could try looking through one of these threads:

Alternatively, this site will help you make your own: https://uselectionatlas.org/TOOLS/evcalc.php

What would the US flag look like if it emulated the United Kingdom flag and was a merger of all 50 state flags (I will settle for the first 13 state flags)

I'm still making my way through the first thread on the off chance I do find something there, but in the meantime, if anyone has any US Election Atlas lines for Nicaragua/El Salvador or any part of Canada, I would appreciate it.

Does anyone have a WORLDA map of one of the last few years borders that includes major rivers and geographic boundaries marked?

Even some of the 13 original states only officially adopted flags fairly recently. New Hampshire only adopted one in 1909 for example.

Maybe instead have a flag combining elements representing New England, the Middle Colonies and the Southern Colonies. The irish part of the Union Jack was made up to fit with the other 2 crosses so similarly, the elements for the 3 regions might not need to be copies of OTL flags.
