I was thinking something like a symbol to represent those peoples in Civilisation.all of these existed in a pre-"visual identity" era in that symbols associated with a given ethnic group (as opposed to their ruler) is a fairly recent concept. I would suggest that either you go with whether symbol their modern-day "descendants" might used or other wise develop their culture within your ATL first and then think of symbols which might be appropriate to represent them.
because a "S" within a shield might be, OTL, too closely identified with Superman, I think the idea of a stylised eye logo within a shield might be better. something like this, perhaps:

You could try looking through one of these threads:I've been trying to modify a US Election Atlas state map, and while I've been able to find a few examples people have made that I can use, I was wondering if there's a thread or other collection of them that have been made somewhere. If not, I have specific requests.
I'm still making my way through the first thread on the off chance I do find something there, but in the meantime, if anyone has any US Election Atlas lines for Nicaragua/El Salvador or any part of Canada, I would appreciate it.You could try looking through one of these threads:
OTL Election maps resources thread
This thread is for posting any election maps from OTL that would be usefully modified by people. If you find useful ones on Wiki etc, just link to them rather than reposting them in full. To start with, here is a map of the UK general election of 1983 that I've made with the help of a basemap...www.alternatehistory.comAmerican Regions Election Mapping
Hello and welcome to this thread, the point of which is to map out historic US elections by regions of each state. However the first step is to decide the regions. So far, I've mapped out the regions shown on this map. Some are fairly obvious, like Tennessee's Grand Divisions, or South Dakota's...www.alternatehistory.com
Alternatively, this site will help you make your own: https://uselectionatlas.org/TOOLS/evcalc.php
You'll find both geographical and river maps on the The Next-Gen WorldA thread (it's stickied).Does anyone have a WORLDA map of one of the last few years borders that includes major rivers and geographic boundaries marked?
Even some of the 13 original states only officially adopted flags fairly recently. New Hampshire only adopted one in 1909 for example. What would the US flag look like if it emulated the United Kingdom flag and was a merger of all 50 state flags (I will settle for the first 13 state flags)
There's 1803 and 1806 in the WorldA thread (https://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/the-nextgen-otl-worlda-series.436046/) - links are in the first post.Does anyone have a world map of 1805? I'll do anyone's request if I get one
The name lends itself to a bear design. Can someone here create a flag for my custom country timeline im working on?
Basically, the vinland norse colony in north america succeeds in 1070 and almost 14,000 settlers arrive in the following years until contact with Iceland is lost and it becomes basically independent.
A group of adventurers, numbered at 150 decide to set sail from Newfoundland and navigate the st Lawrence river deep inland until arriving at lake Ontario where they found a new settlement, Bjarnland or Bear land named after the large number of bears inhabiting the area. The settlement of course slowly but surely intermixed with the local native tribes and by 1200 the Norse language and christianity fully disappeared while mainland vinland maintained its culture and religion. A flag for it would be really nice
I see the flag bearing the arms of the state.Right, I’ll have to explain this flag request first.
In the aftermath of a Soviet defeat to the Imperial German Kaiserreich in the 1920s, an area roughly encompassing Ingria is broken off as an independent Hohenzollern-led Kingdom.
Said state draws its legitimacy from the Pskov Republic & Ingria of old.
That was me (note that it also included some extinct languages, and in some cases spurious and invented ones), in the WIP thread. It was part of a much bigger project I'm still working on.If I'm not wrong, a while back earlier this month, someone (I forgot who) posted in (I forgot where) either the WIP thread or the main map thread depicting a whole bunch of Indo-Iranian languages with labels showing their geographical locations, but nothing more than that. Would someone mind retrieving it for me?
