A flag and coat of arms for indonesia which is lead by the dutch and javanese (javanese not japanese) i posted it in march 16 (alongside some image that could be use as inspiration)

you know those lifeway maps you sometimes see for the pre-columbian americas? has anyone ever made such a map for (parts or all of) afroeurasia? im most interested in the land use of eurasian steppe nomads but anything on the rest of the peoples of the old world would also be interesting.

you know those lifeway maps you sometimes see for the pre-columbian americas? has anyone ever made such a map for (parts or all of) afroeurasia? im most interested in the land use of eurasian steppe nomads but anything on the rest of the peoples of the old world would also be interesting.

way of life, like these peoples are all arctic hunters, these are all plains herders etc etc. its a decent model as anthropology, but as a map its admittedly rather flawed

edit: if you type pre columbian americas (map) into your search engine, allmost all the images are of either subsistence methods or "cultural zones"

Can't do the arms but perhaps something like below for the flag?
Essentially replacing the lower blue stripe with dark orange and adding the arms.

Mostly as OTL Indonesian/Javanese symbolism but as adapted from the Dutch flag.

I've had a look at your original request (I was busy with a ton of others when it was posted, so didn't respond at the time).
Here's some ideas: on the shield the sword from the Batavian CoA (or maybe a keris/kris?) with the wreath from around the Surakarta CoA and with the Hamengkubuwono monogram (from the Yogyakarta CoA) on it too; above the shield the crown from the Surakarta CoA with the wings from the Yogyakarta CoA around it; as supporters either two lions as for Batavia or one lion and something else more Javanese/Indonesian (your choice, if it's something I can find or make easily - maybe a bull for the banteng?); the motto either the Batavian one or the OTL Indonesian Bhinneka Tunggal Ika?
Is that the sort of thing you want?

Yes that would be amazing though i want to keep a symbolic dutch and javanese rule over the country so keeping the sword would mean the dutch are equal to the javanese and for the animals hmm a bull/banteng would be great or a more indonesian choice would be a komodo dragon as a supporter and a dutch lion on the other side as for the motto i dunni ehat do you think suits best?

Initial thought was the flag of British America defaced by a palmetto (the symbol of South Carolina--maybe it applies to the whole of the South?)
