Repulse with Glorious

So they might hang around and shoot at Glorious until Repulse engages at which point it's time to leave quickly.
My suggestion is that upon discovering Repulse, S&G go to full 30+ knots and flee from Repulse at an oblique angle to Glorious so that all six turrets can aim at the carrier. Acasta and Ardent will be left behind. It's essential that Glorious be disabled, as S&G would be expecting her to launch two dozen Stringbags within the next 45 mins or so.

Yes, they run. They don't know Repulse and Glorious are on their own and not part of a larger force, and they can't take the risk that the whole Home Fleet could be just over the horizon.

Couldn't S&G launch some Arados to have a look around? Gladiator vs. Arado should be fun.

One last biplane dogfight, for Albert Ball's sake?
Not biplanes, but I like the sentiment.

S&G each carried three Arado Ar 196 monoplanes. Unfortunately these heavy seaplanes are the ideal target for the much faster Sea Gladiators. Though of course there's none ready on deck, so the Arados can safely launch and scout for larger RN forces or even verify Glorious is disabled and then spot distant fire upon Repulse with S&G can now safely flee.

The Twins are not going to want to mix it with a QE class ship, they would run and it is possible that any RN capital ship is going to be initially ID'd as a QE than almost anything else. If they see additional masts in the distance they might conclude it was an additional capital ship.

In my opinion even with H.M.S. Repulse in support, the overall best move for the British force the moment Scharnhorst and Gneisenau are identified is a fighting retreat. Use planes from Glorious to harass and interdict, keeping them looking as many directions as possible, as Repulse uses her guns to keep them at range.
