Republic of New Netherland

I see that the state/colony of Pennsylvania is one of the neighbours of the New Netherlands on this map...
Wouldn't the formation of the Pennsylvania colony be butterflied away by a surviving New Netherlands?

That whole Delaware with the rounded top is due to a attempt to give Penn. a coast, and problems with the surveying of the Mason Dixon line.
In TTL Marysland would have keep it's 3 eastern counties.
And Mr's Mason & Dixon with their teams wouldn't have gotten drunk and been driven 50 miles south of their suppose to start point.

What three eastern counties?

If you're referring to Delaware, those were never part of Maryland. Settlement of Zwaanedael by the Dutch before the settlement of Maryland superceded English territorial claims and the Dutch-conquered Swedish settlements in northern Delaware gave New Netherland a much more concrete claim. So, in a TL with a successful New Netherland, why would Maryland get Delaware?

Just a note: legally speaking, the Swedish settlements where in Dutch territory. Illegal, that is.
