RED DAWN:1901 to become a TV series

1901 is an alternate history novel by Michigan economics professor Robert Conroy. It was first published in June 1995. The novel depicts a fictitious German invasion of the United States in the year 1901, shortly after William McKinley begins his second term as US President. The book's plot is based on an actual diplomatic crisis that nearly sent the United States and the German Empire to war in the early part of the 20th century.

I think it would be more good than HBO's The Confederate and Amazon's Black America

1901 was the first out and out alternate history novel that I read. I've said several times on here that it would make a pretty good AH movie, although the POD is argued about a lot on here. Still, the movie would have a simple POD and lots of action on land and sea...

The title should be something like Blood and Iron: 1901, not Red Dawn. Imperial Germany was very anti-socialist, and anti-communist.
